Surround yourself in sand, surf, and sun as you travel to the far reaches of the South Pacific. You’ll visit Fiji, New Zealand, and Australia on this ocean-focused, high-energy gap semester. This program is ideal for students looking to spend more time outdoors enjoying the natural wonders of the Southern Hemisphere. In Fiji, you’ll splash in waterfalls, soak in the laid-back island life, and live with a homestay family in the rural highlands. Then venture through New Zealand, where you will find incredible adventures at every turn. Spot dolphins and penguins, and marvel at the breathtaking landscapes. In Australia, you will learn how to surf, sail, and scuba dive, in addition to live-saving skills.
Throughout this semester, you’ll experience a balance of community-driven service, adventure, and learning. You’ll hear the legends of the South Pacific from the local people and return their kindness through a variety of service efforts that may include agricultural, educational, and health-based projects.
